Help with page landing after log-in

OK, when my users log-in it sends them to the homepage every time. This causes a problem. Lets say I tweet a link and a user sees it on twitter and clicks it, comes to the site. He reads the forum post I tweeted and wants to comment…he logs in….boom…back to the homepage and has to dig back down to find the post he wanted to comment on!
How can I take my users back to the original post and not the home page when they log in?
