Problems with BuddyPress log-in new member

If you Register a new ‘member’ account on this WordPress/BuddyPress forum, you can get as far as activating your account, but you can’t login. I can log-in as the WordPress admin, I can see a new ‘member’ account created when I am logged-in as Admin, & I can even change the ‘members’ password. But when I log-out as Admin, & try to log back in as the new member it says “ERROR: Invalid username”
If I press ‘forgot password’ and enter the new user name, it says “ERROR: Invalid username or e-mail.” (note: as mentioned, I can see the new account has been entered?)
If I press ‘forgot password’ and enter the new email it says “Page not found”Any help is appreciated
