Notify system

    Hello to everybody!
    I’m trying to understand if buddypress is the right system for me.
    Until now i found that quite all the function that i need could be mapped with buddypress, but i need to understand if i can add a notification system.
    I need a plugin to make that the user can recive notification by email when someone comment one of their post or when someone write something in a group where they are register.
    It’s what do even facebook, when you recive lot of email that keep you update even if you not go on the web site.
    Does buddypress have a plugin to do that?

    Those emails are already sent by either WordPress or BuddyPress.

    In BP, on your profile page there is a tab called ‘Settings’.
    There you will find options to receive or not receive emails.

    WP gives you the option to send emails re new post comments.
