Dear BP-Community

I would like to allow users to upload avatar images of any shapes (landscape-shaped too). However, this creates the following problem:

Would it be possible to add some code (to bp-core-cssjs.php I assume) to always fit all images horizontally to the dashed crop window and simply fill up the resulting void space above/below the image with white colour?

Any help/input would be very much appreciated.
