Problem with posting an update on activity stream

    Hello everyone,

    I have stumbled upon a problem. When I post an update on the activity stream, it doesn’t appear on the activity stream (so it is not visible on the activity stream, and neither the Admin can see it). But it does appear on the profile of the person who posts the update.

    I have been busy with the activity loop and index.php, but I replaced the original files back when I noticed this and it didn’t change anything. This same problem still occurs.

    Does anyone have any idea about what the cause might be? Or atleast can push me into a direction where to look etc?

    Forgot to mention: Posting in a group is possible and can be seen on the activity stream and in the group itself.

    I am using WordPress 3.8 and BuddyPress 1.9.
