How to manage custom profile fields

    Howdy people.

    I have created some custome profile fields but I have some problems.

    How could I deny the same value in a custom fields for different users? Maybe with a error message for the user?
    E.g. I want that in the custom field “Licence Plate” each plaate is different.

    Then I could reject in my custom profile fields special characters or space in that?
