Combine the Members, Login and Registration Pages into one page

Has anyone tried combining the Members, Login and Registration Pages into one page?
I want to do this because I want the landing page to be populated with some member profiles, and also to contain the login and registration gateways, so that visitors won’t have to click around looking for these.
Possible? Got any directions for me? Thanks!
