sorting businesses into categories????

    I am putting together a website for a group of 100 plus small businesses (home-based business)
    goal:
    each user and their business has a profile that can be displayed in a list of all businesses by name or by business category (eg. computer services, lodging, automotive services)
    users can post accolades, specials (deals or events)
    It looks like this can be done with BP I just need some direction

    You could have each user create their business within a bp-group, and use the group forums to display the accolades and specials.
