Greetings all,
Thank you for taking the time to help and read this help request. I am using wp 4.0 BP 2.1 and buddypress default for the theme. I have added some extended fields to the registration form and profile and this is what is happening.

When filled out, you can view the fields as demonstrated below:

City/Town	Nampa
Starting Weight	296
Weight Goal	146
Current Weight	137

But when you go to edit the profile, this is how it displays with no input boxes ect…

What City/town do you reside in
This field can be seen by: Everyone Change

The weight you weighed in at right before surgery
This field can be seen by: Everyone Change

What is your weight goal you would ultimately like to achieve?
This field can be seen by: Everyone Change

What is your current weight?

Help Please. One can go to the WP side of things and go to their profile and there they can edit the extended fields, but would like this to work from here.
