Another Avatar question (Not about mysterious man).

Hello, I just started running buddypress on theexmines.com, and love it.
Theexmines is a minecraft-server/community, and I’d like to change the way avatars is displayed.

When getting a members avatar, this should be called:
“player-avatar.php?player=&s=3” <– this outputs a .png. (The avatar I want)

Where should I edit this in? I’m not at all an experienced php coder, but I have been looking but can’t find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

hm, bp-core-avatars.php is the file I want to edit right?
