Mention Drop Down Box?

Has anyone developed a plugin whereby as you type @ in the status updates box a list of your friends come up? So you can easily select who you wish to mention?

Hopefully, depending on what the other guys think. I’ll update you here if it gets in and it goes in a test site

Does this hint have to do with the autocomplete member search feature mentioned in a recent thread?
