[RESOLVED]Clients bb site messed up***Need help rather urgent, please, anyone…***

    I am sorry to cry in the subject line…

    I have done hundreds of sites in wp and never had an issue migrating from server A to server B.

    This time I integrated Buddypress and have a major issue.

    I installed wp, then bpress, all on the development link above. I got everything set-up and running, then moved it to the live site (which is on a different hosting account). I sorted out wp-config.php, imported db, edited urls in bb-config.php.

    I get the live site to open up (with a wrong header for some reason), but cannot get wp-admin – even when i log in as admin, i get Page cannot be found.

    I have spent the last 12 hours searching for a solution all over the net but none helped.

    I have tried disabling all plugins, same. Even tried disabling bpress, leaving the plain wpress installation – that also shows me Page cannot be found.

    Just to mention that all of this works fine in the development url I posted above, it only doesnt work on live site (server B).

    Is there anyone out there who can assist? I have a client throwing his toys out the cot and calling me every 10 minutes.

    This is really more a WP issue than a BP one and you may get better advice and help on the WP forums.

    When you uploaded your DB from development what did you do about any set urls/ rewrite rules in the DB have you had a look through the tables? Is your .htaccess file looking in order?

    Okay, so your problem is you can’t get into wp-admin. What messages do you get in your PHP/web server error log?

    Thanks for the response guys.

    I did not get any help from wp forums.

    I have never had this kind of a problem with a wp installation as I mentioned.

    This happened for the first time when I integrated bpress into wp and moved from server A to server B.

    Should I post my .htaccess on here?

    Okay, so *does* the “wp_bp_user_blogs” table in the “cybermik_18” database exist? I know it doesn’t, which is why the error occurs. Something must have happened when you imported the database.

    did a clean install and then change wp-config to the old db and it works now.
    all thats left is to transfer the rest of the files.
