Making certain features of plugins for premium members?

I want to create a premium level for my community and want to offer certain features to only premium members. I am aware of the Membership plugin but how would I offer this for example:
Buddystream tweets to activity stream for only premium members? I could think of many sites features for only members but not sure how they can be controlled to be only used by the premium member level?
