Is it possible to prevent deleting a group when its group admin deletes himself?

    I recently recognized when a user deletes himself from BuddyPress, then the groups where he is the group admin are also completely deleted. Is it possible to prevent this somehow? I know that every group needs at least one admin, so maybe it would be possible to assign the admin rights of the deleted user’s group to a default user. Do you have any idea how I could achieve this? Thanks.

    hi @aglaonika,

    uncheck Allow registered members to delete their own accounts in BP settings.
    or
    uncheck Enable group creation for all users

    I’d like to enable all users to delete themselves, but it would also be great if all of them could create a group. So I need some other workaround.
