Link and unlink XField to perfil

Hi,
I installed recently buddypress and set up the register the field … i see that the Name field create also the name and last name in the normal profile. Now i want that that continue happening but i want that people can chose for example only for friends and the another field that i created “Visible Name” this name is used for example in the member list or when they post something so that the name only appear in their perfil and to shears use their Visible name, what can i do to do this ?
