How to disable xmember profile creation and groups in buddypress

Hi, I am using buddypress for a social networking site. It creates more no. of profile when I refresh a page. I don’t know how to stop it. I’m a newbie. Please advice. How to stop new xmember creations? and how to stop automatic group creation.

Hi @deepanchakravarthi,

Which plugins are you using? and which theme? This is likely due to some rogue code hooking to a hook which fires on each page load.

A standard installation of BuddyPress does not do the things you describe.

Try deactivating any other plugins you have running and see it that stops your issues.
