Get list of unread messages

I’d like have an inbox for just unread messages. I suspect this would have my answer

Except the code appears to have been stripped out.
Any suggestions on how to create a new inbox type page just for unread messages?
Having a loop for unread messages followed by the loop for read messages is also acceptable but usability for that is impacted since hitting back after reading a message wouldn’t have that most recently read message under the “read” section.
