Notification Pop

I don’t know if someone has already made this, but it would be an awesome feature.
All the notifications you get, in addition to place it in the buddypress profile, create a little tab you can put on your webpage in the top right corner ETC. Instead of getting a widget to do this.
Is this possible? Or has anyone already done this?
