I am running WP 4.0 and BP 2.1.1. In the black part of the menu, in the upper right corner, when I click on a user image, a username, or “Edit My Profile” the Group webpage is brought up. This also occurs when I select Profile -> Edit in the lower gray BP menu. All other menu selections appear to work correctly. In WP I have the users’ roles set to “Contributor”. In BP Pages -> Directories I have the settings as follows: Members -> Members-Only, Activity Streams -> Activity, User Groups -> Groups. Pages -> Registration is set as follows: Register -> Register and Activate -> Activate.

I assume when I select “Edit My Profile” or Profile -> Edit the username’s profile page should appear and not the Group page. I have tried making every conceivable, and inconceivable, change one-at-a-time then checking for improvement, but no luck. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I would love to introduce BP to my users, but can’t until this issue is resolved.
