Need to know the nav-sub pages directory.

    Dear BP support,

    Hello, i am finding a trouble with applying buddypress system to a new theme (AppPresser).

    If you could please see the attached images, there are the nav-sub components i have indicated.

    The above image is the normal operation from my web-theme(not the theme i am having trouble with)

    For example, in profile tab, i normally would see base profile, edit and change avatar but i don’t see them.

    Where can i find the sources of those components in buddypress ?

    I think i need to override the correct buddypress templates to a new theme but i can’t seem to find the route to find the right templates for those.

    I do have the nav-menus of BP but underneath each nav-menu, those sub-components are missing.

    Please help, any advice would be really appreciated!

    Use this structure: [theme or child theme]/buddypress/

    For example: [theme]/buddypress/members/single/member-header.php

    Copy this file:
    buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\single\member-header.php

    But is that only for the profile page or the whole member nav-menus ??

    @shanebp, unfortunately, things did not work out well 🙁

    If i have overriden those template files and it is not working. Where should i assume the problem is occurring from ?

    Yes, they are 2 separate issues: nav items and templates.
    Does your theme use the WP toolbar at the top?
    If so, can you see the logged member name?
    If so, if you roll-over it, do you see the correct menu and sub-menus?

    This all sounds theme related. The people at appPressor are good. Have you asked them about this?

    Yes, i have just requested them for a help.

    They were telling me previously to override those templates from buddypress/bp-legacy to their appbuddy plugin which allows the integration of buddypress with apptheme but only to find out that those sub-menus are not shown…

    It looks like non-working day for them today so i will get answer tomorrow.

    Can i at least learn or study from you what are the basic requirements or necessary files that ‘must be’ copied from the buddypress/bp-legacy files??

    Usually, you only need to copy the files that you want to override.

    The appbuddy plugin may have different requirements.

    Dear @shanebp,

    The answer from the support team at appbuddy was not really helpful.
    Their answer was ‘Appbuddy should just override bp files in the same hierarchy, Thanks.’ … haha

    shane i was hoping that you might be able to tell me where i would find the codes for the sub-nav-menus so i can check the appbuddy buddypress files and whether they are correct or not on my own ?

    Also, it would be nice if you could also tell me where is the function that triggers the sub-menus to show on parent-menu tabs.
