User type (18+ and 18-) help

Hi!

I’ve gone through the forums and docs, but I couldn’t find how to setup user types. What I am trying to achieve is,
1) I should have two User Types (18+ and 18-) on setup.
2) When a user registers, he should be categorized into either of the one user type.
3) Posts should not be visible between these two groups. Example, a user posts belonging to 18+ user type should not be visible for 18-.

Can you please help me with a clue to achieve this?

@danbp thank for the link. It serves a difference purpose.

Actually I require more than age verification.

We open up our system for both 18+ and 18- users. But we want to segregate the user content (posts and groups). Content posted (even as public) by 18+ member should not be visible for 18- member.

I couldn’t find any configuration or plugin for this.

Any direction to achieve this would be helpful. Thanks.

I am sure there are many different “membership plugin” options out there..

I’d suggest starting with the “press permit core” plugin
( https://wordpress.org/plugins/press-permit-core/ )
which should do what you are describing I believe.
