Group URL clashes with page URL

Spinalonga group URL is https://cretemix.com/groups/spinalonga

Spinalonga page URL is https://cretemix.com/spinalonga

However, when navigating to the group, the page comes up.

What is the reason for this? It makes it all complete useless.

I did believe BuddyPress was made for WordPress usage…

Can you try disabling all of your plugins and activate the Twenty Fifteen theme and let me know if the problem still happens?

That’s not possible as the Cretemix site is in production mode.

Can this problem be related to the Avada theme usage?

Possibly. That’s what you’ll need to check. Quite often the problem is theme- or plugin-related. My advice is to set up a test site which replicates your production site. Then you can make changes (for testing purposes such as this) without impacting your live website.

If the problem remains after you’ve disabled all plugins and activated the default theme then you can raise a ticket on Trac. The core development team can then take a look.
