Hello everyone! What I’m wanting might be overly specific, but I don’t necessarily have to have every little thing.

Basically, I’m wanting to allow certain users to have a way to edit a page, but a page that can have other things like their own forums. It is kind of similar to groups, but I don’t want people to have to join a separate group besides the website.

I also see that there are ways to give single users one page to edit, but I really want their dashboard to be different from a normal dashboard. To give an example of something similar to what I want is a site here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/black-mesa

This is a site where developers can upload a mod, and once it’s been accepted, the developer will have their own area to log into and give news updates for their specific mod and things like that. As you can see, there is a menu inside their area with things like updates, features, reviews, etc.

I was thinking about using a simple blog post for each area and give them the ability to edit that area. That way I can separate the different categories using the categories of posts, but don’t posts become uneditable after a while because they aren’t static? I’m not sure.

Either way, thank you for any help! I’ve really really been trying to figure this out.
