How to exclude hidden field from search

Hi there,

Running the latest for BuddyPress and WordPress and came across an issue with search. When a user sets his visibility for a profile field to “only me”, the field is hidden from his profile. However, when you are in the members directory and search for a term that the user has hidden from his profile, his profile still shows up.

Is this a bug or was it not implemented?

It sounds like a bug.
Please create a ticket on trac.
Use the same user / password you use here.

I also encountered the issue reported by @asitha above and have opened a new ticket on trac as I couldn’t find an ticket referring to this.
