Hey guys,

i created this homepage http://www.greentouring.net and i want to display 8 random members by the latest entries at the moment there is a portfolio gallery but i want to display 8 random members exactly like the portfolio.

This will need some design work and maybe a custom filtered recently active members widget or a custom member directory template for this part of your homepage…

As i understand does this tutorial http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-create-a-custom-buddypress-members-directory/ change the members site and not the members widget? Or am i wrong?

You’re wrong (it’s about member directory page), and i wrote be inspired, not that it is THE exact answer. By Design, I thought playing with lists CSS to display them in 4 cols; by widget, the tool to generate the content.

Design + Widget + your work = the begin of what you want to get.
