sliders & widget that point to urls of my choice instead of ID posts.

Hi all,
the content of my website ( text and media ) is written and uploaded into the forum as forum threads, meaning that there is not any blog in my website, so not even blog posts.
I’d like the sliders on the homepage and the widgets showing popular/recent topics to redirect to the pages where they have been written ( into the forum ).
For doing this I need the sliders and other widget to allow to set Url pages in their setting instead of ID posts.
Anyone know some external plugins which would allow me to add urls links of my choice or some sliders that already have this feature?
