Incorrect Member Profile URL in Notifications

-WordPress v4.3 on Root Directory
-BP v2.3.3
-No modifications to BP Core Files
-Site: fitscover.com

Hi All,

I’m having an issue with the notification drop-down (specifically the new post/activity of friends) where the URL of the user profile leads to the incorrect URL? (e.g: instead of http://www.site.com/username, it goes to http://www.site.com/username/sitename/members/username).

hi @tr1stessa,

unable to reproduce your issue.
Do you use a specific plugin for notification ?
Have you tested by using a twenty theme and all plugins deactivated except BP ?
Enable also wp_debug in wp-config and report here if you get some error.

Hello danbp,
Sorry for my late reply. I tried testing out with the twenty fifteen theme but it won’t show the notifications. I am also not using any notifications plugin (I tried on but didn’t resolve the issue either). No other errors are being generated, all links are working except for the user profile in the notification. It seems to be automatically adding the root folder and the members folder into the URL instead of just going directly to the user profile URL. Is there anything in the notifications php that I can edit to fix this?

Additional info: I’ve noticed that everytime you click on the username on the notification pop-up, the URL piles up: from http://www.fitscover.com/mpirenet/friends/ to http://www.fitscover.com/mpirenet/friends/Fitscover/members/mpirenet/ and to http://www.fitscover.com/mpirenet/friends/Fitscover/members/mpirenet/Fitscover/members/mpirenet/
