bp_setup_current_user called incorrectly error

    I am getting the following error showing up in my logs

    [error] [pid 4745] mod_proxy_fcgi.c(666): AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Notice: bp_setup_current_user was called incorrectly. The current user is being initialized without using $wp->init(). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 1.7.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 3622\n’

    I have disabled every plugin except for BuddyPress

    I have reverted to TwentyFifteen theme

    Still getting the errors every time I load any page on the dashboard.

    Any thoughts?

    It means something in your theme or a plugin is calling a user hook too early.
    It can be tricky to track down.
    It’s an aggressive notice – but just a notice, not an error.
    You shouldn’t see it unless you have debug turned on.

    I am getting this error with zero plugins activated – only BuddyPress. Even on Twenty Fifteen theme I am still receiving this error (well, notice).

    I cannot duplicate this issue with WP 4.3.1, BP 2.3.4, any WP theme such as 2015.
