WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages > How to segment blogs and to choose featured

Hey ppls!

I’m currently using “WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages” to aggregate blogposts from my network on the BuddyPress frontpage but ran into some questions I hoped you could help with.

1) Is it possible to segment the blogs into different segments like (Teachers: English, Math, Sports etc) ?
I’d like to use a feature like that so I can make a news box where the users can choose which kinda blogs they’d like to see news blogposts from.

2) Can I force some blogposts to stay at the top of the aggregated blogposts?
