How can i make modification without loosing them on update

    Hello,

    I’m new on buddy press.
    I take a look in the forum and doc but i’m not really sure about this.
    Is someone can tell me how can i make modification on buddypress without any fear of loosing them during the next update.
    I’m not talking about css stuff but some bigger change like moving nav tab bar from profile page to header ?

    Avoid editing core files and you should be fine. Instead, put your functions and code snippets in a bp-custom.php file or your child theme’s functions.php.

    Also, check out the Template Hierarchy article for info on template editing.
