Certain emails not getting sent

Hi there,

I just upgraded to Buddypress 2.5 and certain emails aren’t being sent anymore. So far one’s I’m seeing note being sent are:

wp_friends_notification_accepted_request
wp_messages_notification_new_message
wp_bp_activity_new_comment_notification

These ones seem to get sent correctly:
wp_retrieve_password
wp_bp_send_email

Config:
Wordpress 4.4.2
Mandrill is used to send emails (Mandrill has not been updated for many weeks)

Can you link me to what Mandrill plugin you are using, please?

Did Mandrill recently update their pricing to remove the free option?

I see the same problem.

I am using WP Better Email as html wrapper.

Invitation mails from ‘invite anyone’ are going out, but the emails in the new ‘Email’ section of buddypress are not. (mentions, friending)

Thank you for your work and commitment with Buddypress..

Sorry, I was not only impatient, but also wrong, it seems.

Plain text mentions and friendship mails are coming through wrapped nicely with WP Better Email.

This is a very easy way to translate and customize the mails by the way.

Paul, here’s the plugin I’m using: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpmandrill/
I’ve got version 1.33 installed

Henry, I believe they did, and now require a mailchimp account (or will soon) to use it.

So the wpMandrill plugin re-implements wp_mail() function which means BuddyPress should be passing on the plain text versions of the BuddyPress emails onto Mandrill.
