Member Profile Issues

    These forums have been very useful in getting our member directory up and running, but still having a few issues …

    1. When viewing our member directory, some user profiles do not appear unless the “Order By” is set to alphabetical. Found a simple solution here that entailed setting the default to alphabetical, but now it is not possible to sort by last active or newest registered.

    2. When viewing the directory, there is a box says All Members 35. Below that it says Viewing 1-20 of 41 members. We have 41 members, so not sure why the All Members box says 35.

    Ideally, I would like to solve the problem so that all members show up no matter how the list is sorted and the member directory reflect the correct number of members.

    Suggestions?

    Hi,

    you have 41 members, but only 35 logged-in yet and 6 may be pending or never came back after account activation.

    This situation explain also that newest and older sort order “doesn’t work”. It does, but newest and older are related to the user last activity (dynamic notion). Alphabetic is a static count, whatever the user activity status is.
    In brief, the count will became exact only when all user logged-in once. It’s not an issue, but how it works.
