Prevent Post comments Live notifications

Hi all, at the moment, in our personal buddypress profiles we get live notifications once a member comments a post in the community, is there any way to prevent those live notifications only for post comments? We would like to hide it, at the moment I arrived to widen the content of the title deleting it in “public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-notifications” but the notifications are still there. Quite important. Thanks for any reply
