Adding Tags while posting updates in newsfeed

Hello All

I am looking for a feature when user on my site can able to add a tag while posting the activity , Is there any way i can a add a tag like like facebook > Add tag people in your post.

By the was i want to show those tagged posed in a separate page , Is there anything possible like that ?

Forget it, it’s not possible or at least complicated See here why.
If you’re a coder, you could evtl. try this solution.

Thanks for your reply @danbp , Will follow up the instruction with the solution link .

But is there any way i can tag an element by catagory , So that i can show those news feed post based on that selected catagory in separated page
