New topic on a different page

    Hi,

I’m using the bp default theme and it’s great as it is, but i don’t want my users to be able to post a new topic directly from the topic list view.

How do i set this to be visible only after clicking a button, or on a page of its own?

    Thanks!

anyone? I’m thinking that i’m missing the default bbpress-settings-page, this should be a flick of a button right? (are there more settings than just wordpressadmin->settings>forums ? seems to me a small amount of settings for a forum).

    So, no-one?

I’ve used jQuery to hide the ‘start new topic’ field en push a button inside a div to toggle this hide.

BUT, as for example, how do I set if users can edit their own posts? And for how long?
