Cannot add some group members

I have a group that I have successfully added 12 members to, but I cannot add additional members. The people I want to add are WP users but when I try to add them, the AJAX message doesn’t find them. I have tested the AJAX message itself and it does find some users, but not others. Here are two examples:

This works: http://www.connexions.world/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=bp_group_admin_member_autocomplete&group_id=10&term=donna

This doesn’t: http://www.connexions.world/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=bp_group_admin_member_autocomplete&group_id=10&term=nberg

There is a user named “nbergkvist@yahoo.com”

Autocomplete, by default, will suggest friends only. Could it be that “donna” is a friend but “nberg” isn’t?

If this is the issue, you can tell the autocomplete script to look at all members instead of just friends by adding this line to your bp-custom.php file:

define( 'BP_MESSAGES_AUTOCOMPLETE_ALL', true );
