How to edit user role from profile page?

Before BP I could do this. I would click on a user name from bbpress for example, then it would take me to the wordpress user profile page.
In there of course I can change their WP role from say, Subscriber, to Administrator.
now with BP activated, I cannot do this as it goes to BP profile page which for some reason doesn’t show WP user level.
Any idea how I can get around this please?
