buddy bar not working

    WordPress 4.8.2 running Boss. Child Theme theme. bbPress v2.5.14, Buddy Press v2.9.1

    Home Page

    using the menu in buddybar (left side of screen), “my profile” link doesn’t work…
    using the menu in the profile (upper right corner), the “my profile” link works…

    also how can I remove the submenu items from the profile menu?
