Custom tab on members directory with custom database loop

Hello,
I’m trying to add custom tab to members directory, like My Friend’s (or however it’s named in English) but with custom loop that will users by database query.
To add tab, I tried with following code by @shanebp but I got 404 error.
After I fix this, how should I add custom loop to this page?
I think found some tutorial some time ago, but I can’t find it anymore.Any help would be appreciated.
