Email Notifications, only mentions sending not comments.

    Hello all,

    I am having an issue where members only get notified and emailed if they are tagged in a mention, not when they comment on the activity stream.

    I have the correct notification settings on & email situations.

    I also added a custom email situation/notification and hooked it to ‘wp_insert_comment’ with no results. It appeared in the email situation list but I didnt get an email.

    Is any one able to point me in the right direction where I am going wrong?
    Is using ‘wp_insert_comment’ the correct way to capture when a member posts on the activity steam?
