Custom select Order By: Distance (using zip code)

Hi all,
I want to add the option to sort the member directory results by distance using the users’ zip code. I found a piece of code in this post that does exactly that but the pagination is off and I haven’t been able to fix it. Does anyone know of a simple plugin or have code that does that?
