Text box field type in one column

Hi there, have anyone succeded in creating a user field text box type in one column?
With the two columns layout the name of the text field is in one column, and the text content in the other,long narrow column which is difficult to read and does not look good.
Which template file should I look for in Nouveau to change this setting for the text box type field?
