buddypress.org my profile does not work well

    hey!

    Trying to put a photo to my avatar (so I could get attention in the forums and make someone enter my post an offer some hep) I get this error
    Upload Failed! Error was: Unable to create directory /avatars/8192529. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Also if I go to Forums, I don´t see my entries.

    Ah, and search function gives always all the same results no matter what I look for.
