Disable Home Page

Hello Guys,

This is my first time here, and I’m stuck…!!!
Well I’m just an user of Buddypress, I do not have the knowledge of making my own codes or scripts. I only use plugins to achieve the requirement.
Firstly I would like to thank all of you here for building Buddypress. I’m also willing to donate, the help you have given me is absolute. Very cost effective too.

I’m here to today, successfully completed a community site for my clients.
Well however i would like to disable the home page completely. I’ve used login redirect and I’m able to redirect my clients to their profile page after login.

But however when they click on the logo or the link on the status bar they are still redirected to the home page.

How do I completely hide the home page from being accessed.

I guess you can do a re-direct based on logged in status away from any top level url but that would probably have consequences. You could wrap the index/home page in an if/else saying if not logged in show normal home page content else show something else for logged in users.

Hello Hugo,

Thank you for the link.. but however I’m still not sure how to disable the home page completely…
The notification bar still points to the home page…
