edit in place profile fields using jquery

Hello,
i was wondering if anyone could help me how can i do this, basically i want to add custom fields and load them up separately and basically when people click on the custom field it will edit automatically and form box will appear instantly which allows users to edit there profile fields instantly without going into profile edit here’s an example of what i want to add http://www.ofbrooklyn.com/2010/03/24/code-snippet-jquery-edit-in-place/i really hope someone can help me out.
