How do I change the avatar thumbnail size for groups?

Currently, the BP Avatar Thumb height/width is set to 50px. That is fine with me and I know how to change that part.

What I want to do is change the size of the thumbnails for just the groups widget. The thumbnail size for the groups is tied in with the thumbnail size of the avatars thoughout my buddypress website.

Can anyone help out?

‘groups widget’? If you mean the groups directory loop, then look at the file /groups/groups-loop.php in the loop section you will see the call for the group avatar and it’s arguments passed back to set the size `’type=thumb&width=50&height=50’` you can change those to ‘full’ and ? 150 if you prefer.

If you mean the groups avatars as seen in the activity loop then I doubt there’s an easy way to change individual avatar sizes.

Hello – I am using 1.7.2 – and cannot find /groups/groups-loop.php

Has the name changed? I just want to change the avatar size of the group avatars, and make them to be the same size as user avatars (which I think is 150).
