1) Can you link directly to a member profile page using the user ID field?

http://www.example.com/bff/123 -> this will then direct to the member profile page with the ID of 123.

I do not want to update the members slug, just want to add a path to the member profile paging using the user ID. I tried using ?author=123 but this looks at the author archive.
