Issue with buddypress theme regarding “Favorite” button. Please help

Below you’ll find a bb/wordpress based website I’ve been working on.
I just have an issue that I can’t seem to fix.
Whenever a user favorites a post or such the website redirects to a 404 page not found error page.
Would anyone who is experienced in this field be able to help?Thanks in advance,

@karmatosed Thank you. I’ve tried going through some of the issues you’ve mentioned. Thing is I am new to wordpress/buddpress and not much experienced in JQuery either. If you could please elaborate a little bit on the scripting errors I would be grateful
.I’d use the default theme as a sanity check because that will tell you if set up or theme – hopefully
