Changing default group tab in 1,6

Thanks to everybody involved in putting Buddypress together ( I am constantly amazed and impressed by the achievements of open-source projects like this). I’m in the process of building a new site and have just updated to 1.6 and It all seems to be working fine so far.

I was really interested to see that one of the new features is the ability to change the default tab for groups, but I cannot figure out how to do this. There doesn’t appear to be an option in the group admin settings, or anywhere else. Am I missing something obvious?

One way is to set the BP_GROUPS_DEFAULT_EXTENSION constant in your wp-config.php, or you can use the filter “bp_groups_default_extension”.

Either way, set the value to the slug of the groups page that you want.

define(‘BP_GROUPS_DEFAULT_EXTENSION’, ‘thing here’);

Hi! I’ve been trying this all day! I don’t have too much experience yet. I did this on the wp-config.php http://screencast.com/t/KoQu9lg2 is that ok? or what should I do?
