Delete account – missing

I am running BP v5.1.2
In admin area Settings->BuddyPress->Options->AccountDeletion is checked and saved.

On my localhost, everything is working fine but on my three live sites
I can not see the Delete Account option.

If I click on Export Data option
and scroll down
I can see the link to Delete Account.

If I click on that link I get a warning message:
“You do not have access to that page.”

(I have administrator role.)

AS this URL is no longer accessible neither on localhost:

/members/user-name/settings/delete-account

Do I need to use this plugin

https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-deactivate-account ?

It is very confusing because there is nothing in BuddyPress documentation which would describe current delete-account behavior.

Hi, you can’t delete the administrator account so that is why you are likely seeing that error, try the page as another user and see if it works. I don’t think the link appears in my menus either whilst I’m logged in as admin.
